Biography of P. C. Fullmer

From HISTORY OF MADISON COUNTY
W. H. Beers [Chicago, 1883]

Page 995

P. C. FULLMER, Notary Public, Jefferson, is a son of George and Sophrona (Thresher) Fullmer, the former a native of Pennsylvania and the latter of Vermont. Their marriage was celebrated in Wisconsin about 1850, this being his second marriage. Four years after the union, they settled in Madison County, Ohio, where our subject was born the same year being the second and youngest of the family. He was raised to farm life and acquired the rudiments of an education in the common schools during the winter season, after which he attended the National Normal University at Lebanon, Warren Co., Ohio. He has devoted considerable time to reading medicine, and, since 1880, has lived in Jefferson, where he is serving as Town Clerk and conducting an office of the leading fire insurance companies. He is also Notary Public and collecting agent.
