DANIEL DURFLINGER, farmer, P. O. West Jefferson. Of Thomas Durflinger's children, Daniel, the sixth, was born in Ross County, Ohio, August 10, 1846, but since twelve years of age has been a resident of Madison County, where he has always followed farming. He now owns a good farm of 250 acres, and considerable land in Ottawa County, Kan. He is one of the well-to-do citizens, industrious and economical, and believes in furthering the interests of the county. His marriage with Margaret Anderson has resulted in the birth of nine children, seven are now living – two are in Kansas, and five are in their native county, Madison.
